MMS® GP Practice Pharmacists
Providing Pharmacists for your Practice
MMS® can provide support to NHS Practices to help meet their goals and targets and to improve patient outcomes. We can provide tailored solutions for NHS Practices and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to minimise your time commitment and maximise your outcomes within restrained NHS budgets.
We can provide pharmacists on a long term or sessional basis depending on the requirements of the practice. We ensure that clinical grade pharmacists are embedded into the processes of your practice.
MMS® have a range of GP Practice Pharmacist services designed to optimise patient care and improve outcomes. We work with individual GP Practices, GP Federations, Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and CCGs to provide a bespoke service to meet your specific requirements.
The addition of a Clinical Pharmacist has been proven to alleviate the workload of a GP by removing time consuming responsibilities from their list of duties. Furthermore our MMS® pharmacists can support patients to get the most from their medicines, reduce medicines wastage and reduce unplanned hospital admissions.
MMS® has innovatively found ways to work with the NHS to provide risk-share and flexible services that deliver a distinct advantage to compliment medicines management teams. This has proven beneficial in conjunction with our ability to offer sponsored programmes in a range of therapy areas, clinical reviews and software solutions, so there will be no cost implications to your surgery or CCG.

Practice Pharmacists can be directly commissioned from MMS® to work in your Practice or Federation.
The option of outsourcing Pharmacist support is comparable in costs to direct employment but may offer additional advantages.
MMS® also offer flexible options to ease the pressures of recruitment, training, and the potentially significant overheads relating to employment contracts & indemnity.
